Ex-DOTr ASec Libiran Lectures Baraan for Criticizing Salamat PRRD Event

A former Assistant Secretary of the Department of Transportation, ASec Goddes Hope Libiran lectured an avid critic of the Duterte administration, Mr. Francis Baraan IV for his statement against the trending Salamat PRRD event. 

Francis Baraan questions the legitimacy of the trending topic as most netizens gave tribute to President Rody Duterte for his service to the nation as they showered the outgoing President with gratitude towards the things he accomplished under his term as the country's chief executive. 

Francis Baraan a well-known Dilawan and Pinklawan supporter asked his followers why the Filipino people should give thanks to Duterte for his achievements. 

The critic even cited some of the failures of the Duterte administration but his statement was countered by a former Assistant Secretary of the Department of Transportation, ASec Goddess Hope Libiran. 

Francis Baraan was quoted as saying "Salamat daw kay PRRD, sabi dito sa trending topic ngayon? For what? For the EJKs, for normalizing misogyny, for jailing political dissenters? For the lies & fake news? Without Leni, it would have been unbearable 6 years. Kaya ang dapat pasalamatan ay si Leni-hindi si Duterte!"

The statement made by Francis Baraan IV was countered smartly by ASec Goddess Hope Libiran who enumerated the success of the Duterte administration as she enumerated the successful projects of the Duterte administration just for the Department of Transportation. 

According to ASec Libiran, some of the reasons why we should thanks Duterte was due to the fact that "Laglag Bala" truly disappered at NAIA, no more delayed MRT-3 trip, plastic driver's license were issued and carries a 10-year validity period to name a few.

▪️ May plaka na ang mga sasakyan— Dati kahit isa, walang nai-issue na plaka dahil sa alleged anomalies;

▪️ Mayroon na tayong natapos na 500-km Bike Lane Network sa mga urban areas;

▪️ Natapos na ang Bicol International Airport na taong 1996 pa nagawa ang pre-feasibility study;

▪️ Natapos na ang Bohol-Panglao International Airport na unang na-conceive noon pang taong 2000;

▪️ Natapos on time ang Mactan Cebu International Airport na delayed ng 11 months noong pumasok ang Duterte administration noong June 2016;

▪️ After 50 years, nakabili na rin ang PNR ng mga bagong tren galing sa sarili nitong budget;

▪️ Naipatupad ang Service Contracting para sa mga bus and jeepney driver;

▪️ Investment-approved na ang Mindanao Railway na unang na-conceive noong 1950s, ngunit noong 2016 ay wala pa ring completed Feasibility Study, NEDA Board approval, financing, at anumang kontrata.

And no matter what critics say, the fact that President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and his administration delivered remains to be an unassailable truth for many Filipinos.
