Lawyer Slams School Textbook Authors for Attributing Cory & Ninoy as "Mga Bayaning Pilipino"
Veteran lawyer and prominent social media personality, Atty. Ahmed Paglinawan slams the authors of the controversial school textbooks wherein Cory and Ninoy Aquino were hailed "Bayani" or heroes went viral on social media.
According to Atty. Paglinawan, a screenshot of a page in a school textbook wherein Cory and Ninoy were hailed as heroes went viral online and caught the attentions of thousands of netizens who reacted to the said viral screen captured image.
The lawyer clarified that he has no idea where the book page was found but he was certain it's a page from a school textbook.
If the suspicion of the veteran lawyer was correct, he said this is clear case of false publication.
Atty. Ahmed Paglinawan lamented that what makes this sadder for him and the supporters of BBM, the false information was being used to brainwash school children.
The reasons why Atty. Ahmed made those comments was because of the fact that no law ever declared Cory Aquino and Ninoy Aquino heroes. He called this wholesale fakery.
Atty. Ahmed also suggested that if he was a member of the Aquino, he would get those lines erased from all future copies and sue the authors and demand reparation from the publisher. Maybe then, he can truly consider himself a hero for it.
Atty. Ahmed Paglinawan the partner of Atty. Trixie Cruz Jimenez who now served as the country's chief of the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO), a position previously held by veteran journalist Martin Andanar.

I don't know where this book page was found. But it looks to me like it's a page from a school textbook.
If it is so, then we have a clear case of false publication.
No law in this country ever declared Cory Aquino and Ninoy Aquino heroes. This is wholesale fakery.
Sadder still, it is being used to brainwash children.
That is really classy. If I were a self-respecting member of that family, I'd get those lines erased from all future copies; sue the author/s; and demand reparation from the publisher. Maybe then I can truly consider myself a hero for it.
Then again, I'm not. And I doubt there is one at all.
Oh, and the poem really, like, sucks.
