VP Leni Robredo Pleads Supporters To Let Her Go to Harvard

Former Vice President Leni Robredo asked her supporters to let her go to Harvard because she will receive some compensation as Hauser Leader of Harvard Kennedy School. 


Leni Robredo confirmed to the media about her stint in the US during her speech in Pampanga, wherein she asked permission from her supporters to let her go to America. 


The former opposition leader explained that the she will get some compensation from Harvard University but she did not divulged all the details or the exact figures on how much her salary from the prestigious university. 

Robredo was quoted as saying "Payagan niyo na 'kong pumunta sa Harvard kasi may sweldo ako doon. Sa Angat Buhay wala. Kailangang mabuhay," Robredo explained. 

The former congresswoman turned Vice President promised her supporters that although she will be working in the United States, seh will continue to fulfill her obligations as Angat Buhay leader while working in Harvard. 

"I will be on top of it. Hindi siguro ako makakatulog nang hindi ko mina-manage ang Angat Buhay sa araw-araw.. Yung mga plano natin tuloy-tuloy," Robredo stated. 


As Hauser Leader of Harvard Kennedy School she will be working with the students, faculties and alumni of the world-renowned Harvard University. 

"By teaching skill-building and leadership development workshops, engaging kay external stakeholders, and advising students and alumni, Hause Leader enact the Center for Public Leadership's mission to develop principled, effective public leaders who make positive change in the world," based on Harvard's website. 

"Hauser Leaders also inform curriculum by speaking in the classroom, engaging in research and case development, and sharing expertise with lead faculty," the website added.
