Jay Sonza Reminds Pacquio to be Careful on Calls for Him to Run for President

Veteran broadcaster and veteran political analyst Jay Sonza reminds Filipino netizen and appealed to them to stop urging Sen. Manny Pacquiao to run for President of the Philippines.

Jay Sonza made some clarification by stating at first that he is not in any way belittling Pacquiao but, he knew something more interesting compared to other people who came close with the senator.

The veteran broadcaster wasted no time and politely appealed to those who are urging Manny Pacquiao to run for President to stop.

Jay Sonza remarked that the debate is neither Pacquiao is a great professional boxer or not. Nor about Pacquiao's love for his family or being a Born-Again Christian.

The veteran broadcaster claimed on his latest post that he personally witnessed Pacquiao's rise to greatness in boxing and everything and partly contributed to Pacquiao's comeback as a boxer.

Jay Sonza also revealed that during the time when Pacquiao was down on his career, he spent a fortune to promote Pacquiao's comeback bid boxinb after suffering a loss in Thailand, find better matches to help Manny regain his international and world ranking and make sure the matches were held in the country to help him regain his confidence.

Here's the Complete Statement of Jay Sonza:

That is non-debatable.

I spent millions and time to help a fellow Mindanaoan by producing promoting and staging  his unprecedented comeback in boxing.

We made sure the matches were held in the Philippines to boost his confidence.

But running a boxing career is far way different from running a country, an archipelago, peopled by varying degree of beliefs and topak.

Foreign relations is not like boxing diplomacy. Economic and fiscal. management is unlike shadow boxing. Rising from the ashes of a pandemic cannot be equated with simply standing on your knees before the count of 8.

Ang pagpapatakbo ng bansa with 110 million population in this challenging times ay hindi lang natutugunan sa pamamagitan ng simpleng pagpila para sa "baloto o ayuda" ni Manny.

Please lang huwag nyo ng bilogin ang ulo ni Pacman into believing that he can run this country, the way a boxer would run 10 kilometers a day for 10 weeks before a title fight.
